[Resolved] HDFC Bank — auto debit even after minimum due was paid

Hi team,

Even after i paid the minimum due amount, hdfc bank deducted an amount of 3000 from the account, and i would like to raise a complaint regarding the same as this has been happening time after time, when i called customer care they did not resolve the issue above that i found out that they are charging interest on credit card even after paying the minimum due, and when you call them and ask for justification they simply say that i should have read the terms and conditions, but when i asked them that why the hell they didn't ask me before issuing the credit card. # bank.

Please deactivate and refund my money asap

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Mr.Sidhi,
We understand that you have certain reservations regarding the finance charges billed to your card account. We take this opportunity to clarify that finance charges @ 3.49 % per month accrue to your card account in case we are in receipt of partial payment or non receipt of any payment towards the outstanding dues on the card account by payment due date.
Finance charges are charged on the following:
On the total amount from the statement date till the part payment date.
On the outstanding balance till the next statement date.
On fresh purchases done thereafter, till the next billing cycle.
