REFUND OF BANK CHARGES
Please refer to letter dated 10/03/2017
I had clarified that on my visit to Br, prior to going abroad; a small letter was obtained from me by the Br staff to change product code of account from salary account to zero balance account. This letter was given at the request of your staff, to save the account from any bank charges or instead I had asked to close the account. Since I have arranged SIP from the account to HDFC AMC, the bank staff felt it appropriate to continuance of the account with changes in the product code.
As per the Statement of accounts the relative charges debited are Rs.7753.72. Please refer to the excel file annexed for your perusal.
Further you have debited Rs.842.70 on 19/12/2013 and 21/12/2013 respectively towards ECS returned. These ECS were towards SIP amount claimed by HDFC Mutual Fund. This was result of your continuous debits to my savings bank account. Therefore, please check the details of charges levied and arrange to refund Rs.1685.40.
You have agreed to refund Rs.6686.30 as per your mail dated 14/03/2017. However you have also advised that a negative balance of Rs -8314.51 has been created by the system, after my accounts balance made zero, by debiting bank charges regularly to the tune of Rs. 9429.12. Your mail dated 19/03/2017 has asked me to fund the account to appropriate the negative balance in my savings bank account. I am afraid as to how long you will continue to debit my savings bank account, without any intimation, and create negative balance in thousands and lakhs.
I am surprised that your meter of charges is continuously running at double speed and may reach in lacs and crores of rupees of negative balance. The Regulator of Banking Industry in India perhaps unaware of this procedure or practice. I request again to address my grievance. Under such circumstances, I may not be able to continue account with you. Therefore, Please, , remit the refund to my account mentioned as follows;
