I've been charged 885 rupees from my HDFC account for depository charge. I'm trying to contact HDFC from 16-oct-2020. I sent several emails and tried calling customer support 20 or 30 times. I can't connect to any of customer support. I researched it on internet and found it was charged for my demant account. But im not using my demant account, so i have to be classified as BSDA account and my charge should be like 100 or something. They charged me a much amount. I didn't get any intimation or notification also they said demant account is free. The person who collected my documents said there is no charge but a commission. There is no notification, intimation or response from HDFC and horrible customer support. I need my money back. They clearly mentioned on their website about BSDA account.
