This is a true and honest information..need urgent help required from this complaint forum...

First of all, I joined wipro IT company in the year Dec 2011.. Once joined HR asked to get the bank account updated in the records for salary credit..i already had a HDFC savings account in Chennai (Chitlapakkam) branch, since my company HR provided hdfc contact person who provide the initial hdfc bank instant account opening kit ( he is sitting inside our office premises ) to sell the bank account opening formalities..he introduced him as Mani, he explained the benefit of hdfc bank account and said to fill a form to open new account.i said I already have the savings account in hdfc bank in Tambaram - Chitlapakkam branch - Chennai -600064.. Mani said that then no need to open a new account instead he will make the existing account to salary account ( he will map the account as salary account ) once the salary gets credited then the account will be mapped as salary account..later, after few months i was in need of money and planned for a personal loan and have got a personal loan from hdfc bank (5/6/2012) loan account number 21534428 and emi started from 4/7/2012..emi amt was only Rs.2340 ( 5 years ) tenure..I was promptly paying this amount for more than 6 months.. here comes the problem.. there was a collection executive at my home door asking me that I didn't pay 3 months personal loan, I told him that I pay regularly the Rs.2340 / month but he showed the collection papers that amount on my name is pending..I checked with Chitlapakkam branch ( Personal banker - Sunitha P ) told me that I did not maintain the proper balance in my account and there was AWB ( Average weekly balance ), AQB ( average quartely balance ) AMB ( Average monthly balance ) was levied from my savings account ( account customer ID ;[protected] and made my account miserable.. I said madam I am working with IT company and my pay gets credit here and it's a salary account and why I need to maintain the balance ( Salary account need not required balance to maintain ), Sunitha P said that the account does not mapped under salary account still it is showing as savings account only, further request she said that she will mark it as a salary account and she said she will help to talk with personal loan dept to provide the cheque bounce charges and I can pay the remaining.. after several attempts she denied that the charges would be revered on any case and asked me to contact the hdfc personal loan dept to pay with penalty and Chitlapakkam account they won't mark it as salary account ) .. I was really had lot of run around because of this and was actually working on a night shift lost many days sleep going to regular visit with the Chitlapakkam branch bit that dint help.. that time there was no mobile banking to check frequently about the bank statement instantly it was only Internet banking where we need to have internet connection, I was not having internet connection to regularly watch my account..I talked to personal loan dept to collect a new cheque to mark the loan from a new bank which i am going to change since I have heloo out of issues with the hdfc bank which dint convert to salary account and asking to maintain balance and I was confused about the AMB/ AQB / AWB charges .. personal loan dept said that u should not change the bank account and there is no option to change just like that, they won't accept it..I had no clue that no one helped me in this case.. so finally I made a decision atleast I will maintain this account to pay off the loan and let the salary comes to the same account .. like 2 years went and continued my loan with many balance deduction and prompt loan payment as well... Again the problem started with many deductions and cheque bounces and made personal loan miserable.. sometimes they started to withdraw more money from the savings account, I decided to change my bank account itself to avoid these losses incurred .. I switched to Kotak mahindra bank account, again contacted the HDFC personal loan dept and asked to collect a cheque from me to start the ECS cheque auto withdrawal account - personal loan[protected] for Rs.2340 but no one turned to me at that time.. they started to send collection agency people to home for collecting money for the bounced ones.. I was really paying with penalty and there was some 2 to 3 rowdies came to my house and harrassed my mother / father stating a filthy statements that your son won't pay the personal loan taken and used unparliamentary words against my father and mother whether they were ahamed in front of my nieghbours..next time when they come and in and harrass we want to actually wanted to police complaint but we never did that since we wanted to genuinely pay the loan...collection agency people are really worst which HDFC bank never know them how they collect money..
They stopped coming and they called me over phone and repeatedly harrassed me and threatened me over the phone..
I said I will foreclose the loan so that we can finish the issues...nothing turned a luck on me.. they never cared what I have talked..
2017 the loan tenure closed.. they started to come to home regularly asking for payment and settlement and I said I am willing to pay the required amount, they said for 1lakh amount i have borrowed from them I have to pay 5 lakh and 60 thousand in total for a clean records on cibil, I said this is very wrong there was bigger mistakes made by savings account / salary account issue.. they never listened..
I said that I cannot pay 5 lakhs rupees and all which is not correct..
So HDFC entered this amount is cibil about ?more than 2 lakhs and written off state..
I contacted them again and pleaded for principle settlement I can do.. finally from aminjikarai Chennai Nelson manickam road branch Ramanan sent me the letter to settle before 30 June 2020.. he stated in the phone call that the civil records will be cleared since the points are valid from your side and asked me to pay one time settlement of Rs.65000 where I had already paid 24.months of emi.. I was happy for the deal and despite during the covid-19 situation also I paid the amount and they said that they will give NOC and clear the late payments on the cibil and waive off any amount which shows in the cibil records.. after a month I noticed In the trans union cibil record which shows HDFC updated cibil record as Post ( WO ) Settled with the written off amount as Rs.1, 87, 000 and not done cibil clean up like late payments removal or deletion of records or closed... The loan closed in the year 2017 and they added 2017 to 2020 late payments and completely destroyed my cibil records..
Meanwhile in the year I took a car loan of 3 lakh 45 thousand and paid without any single miss in the payment and closed on September 2019 and also took a personal loan of Rs.1lakh from Kotak in the year 2018 and closed in August 4th 2020 without a single miss and my legitimacy is real...I raised a dispute in cibil transunion and I got no changes as HDFC bank updated again as no changes but due to my genuine payments my cibil records indicate as 737 as on today's date 28/8/2020 ...

I want the HDFC bank to step forward help me to clear my bad cibil records and promised what they have promised me ...pls pls pls ..

Further any plan on my home loan plans will get destroyed due to the bad cibil updates by the bank..
My dream is to buy a house for my family.. and i my friend works in bank said that without they clear the post wo settled status / good cibil entry no bank will approve loan for me...

If my bad records not get erased there will be definitely a suicide will happen from my side and I will make the nation knows this matter and let the CBI probe in the HDFC bank head office mumbai or Chennai Aminjikarai office ( Ramanan ) and the entire team who works for many fraudulent promise made to the customers to collect any amount getting their blood sucked !!!

Attached proof's about the same... Pls refer and need immediate help pls..

In the settlement offer letter, they mentioned in the point no # 7,

This settlement Amount shall be accepted as full and final settlement of the subject loan account and on receipt of the said settlement amount, NOC for the said account shall be issued, subject to Borrower/Hypothecate does not owe any direct/indirect liability to the bank.

But NOC is not provided by th bank to me and they cheated this point added...

This is not rightful in the court of law...

In my HDFC Account - Cust ID : 37990459, they mentioned as NOC sent through sms .. is this the right way to courier / dispatch NOC through sms...

As promised by them, HDFC bank has to issue a NOC letter not the loan closure letter, both are different...

I did not receive any response yet, is this is going to get sorted out or not !!! Consumer complaints forum Team, we have lot of hope on you . Pls update
