This is to inform you about the harassment my family has faced from HDFC bank. I Alisha Dhawan d/o Poonam Dhawan both had a fixed deposit in HDFC since Jan 2014 and had a credit card along with it. On on 22nd April HDFC personal banker Abhishek Chauhan forced us to upgrade our credit card whereas my mother shared the fact that we need to break the FDR so even have to close the credit card as required, he claimed that closure of credit card will not be required on 8th May 2017 we both went to HDFC Kharar branch to break the fixed deposit and get the money back as I was in need of money to pay my international tuition fees. We got to know that we have to pay our credit card dues before getting FDR money.
Since 8th May 2017, my mother have been making payments for all the emails that HDFC is asking just to get the fixed deposit close at any cost but in response we are just getting another request from there end with a simple email it will take next 7 days and a new reference number.
We are mentally harassed and exploited as my fees has been taken from my relative and we promised the person to return in 10-15 days. Now we are getting harassed by family even. Was this information helpful? |
