[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Corporate salary account holder and blocked due credit card. | ||
I have been using hdfc credit card from november 2014, beginning for almost one year i have done the payment on time. After in 2015 i left the job because of my health issues, due to this and some financial crisis i was not able to do the credit card payment, and the interests became more and more and the collection department started calling me, my family, my friends and started abusing them and harassing them with slang languages, and i even got threaten calls from some persons speaking very rude to me they don't even have respect for women, they are all rowdy types, they speak in kannada local language with very bad words, some how to avoid these calls i paid the minimum amount for almost 8 to 9 months and after that i got call from some collection person he offered for the settlement of the credit card amount which i need to pay in 8 installments. Then i agreed for the same the settlement amount money came to 57, 500/-. First payment was by cash and the rest was by cheques. But i had asked the settlement from may 2016, i received the mail from the rpmc... Settlement letter on 23rd june 2016, mentioned in the letter that my settlement is considered from may 2016, then i kept ready the amount and cheques accordingly but nobody from the bank contacted me to collect the cheques and amount, then on 2nd july 2016, i got call from one of the collection dept. Person for the collection of money i cheques and that person jagadish has asked only to sign on the cheques not to right anything. Then he took cash & 7 signed cheques and said that he will write the details on that and went. Then on 9th july 2016 he called and said that one cheque got overwritten by mistake and he will give the receipts for the rest of the cheques and when tried to given another cheque he said not required and asked to the payment in between online. This one payment was delayed as there was financial crisis, but finally did the payment on 8th feb 2017, as soon as i got call from ratnakar saying if i do the payment that day itself the settlement will be cleared. I did the payment online and called him and shared the details with him. He said this is fine. I asked him for the closing letter he said the settlement letter itself is the closing letter. After this i was in a thought that everything got cleared but all of a sudden in my credit card account it started showing the balance due as 45, 600 /- then again called rathnakar he said to ignore as it will show like that for another 2 months. I just ignores as per his advice. After few days like in march 2017 i got call for my office landline number saying i have not the cc payment it is due 45, 600/- i was shocked and i told them this is cleared as i had taken the settlement, then that lady told she will check and come back but no call back for one month and again in end of the april 2017 i got same kind of call for cc payment where again i told them the same about settlement then he also said he check and revert but no response. About this i had again spoken to rathnakar shetty, he said to ignore. But in the month of may 2017 on 2nd i was shocked when in my corporate salary account, my whole month salary was kept on hold and the balance was showing -17000/- it was a crucial situation where i was not at all intimated and no proper clarification given on settlement procedure, and for only one payment was delayed for which my salary account was holded and from one week i am struggling and had visited the richmond circle credit card divsion where by person named raghavendra asked me to write email to grievance. [protected]@hdfcbank.com, Priorityredressalrpm. [protected]@hdfcbank. Comasking for the reversal of my money and closure of the credit card. But some one from bank called last saturday and asked me to contact venkateshearan r raman, ([protected]) whose number is continuously switched off and no alternate number given from the bank again, i am writing continuously emails but no clue on whats happening about my money... I need to pay the school fees & uniform fees of my daughters, i am totally blind is there anyone to help me there??? Was this information helpful? | ||
May 17, 2017 Complaint marked as Resolved I had written continuously emails to HDFC credit card department following are the details. [email protected], every day I wrote 2 to 3 emails to know the status, finally my case was resolved. HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
