I have got the card sometime during Q3 of 2016 after so much of pushback from my side but went ahead with the promised statement that it would be a life time free card provided I make one transaction in next 60 days. Everything went fine till Jan or Feb 2017, where I have been asked to pay annual maintenance fee of Rs.2875.
I was literally shocked that organization like HDFC could not be trusted and called “n” number of times to customer care telling my plight. They have requested to write to Chennai address (Credit Card Division) to cancel my credit card with the reason ( I have written 3 times) and every time I just get a message saying that it has been not approved without any reason been given for all the three times. After each message I have called the customer care and I need to start from the first taking lot of time with the same resolution given, “ Please give a request to Chennai - Credit Card Division” to get the card cancelled.
I am really aggrieved that HDFC as an institution is having people who are mis-selling of the product and also having a poor customer resolution. I have reached you trusting that you would help me to solve the issue. I cannot pay an annual fees for the card which I am not using and also that the card or product has been sold to by misleading statements.
Can you please help to solve this request?
