Thanks for your response, but can u please clarify about my statement, that i have to pay that money or not and if yes then why? & how can i pay without having full credit card detail? Please also mention what are the attached copy required by bank to close my card and account. The HDFC Regalia Credit card claims to provide "extremely low interest charge of just 3.49*% per month." on their website (https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/credit_card/regalia-card). This borders on fraudulent as this amounts to 42% interest rate per year. Compare this to interest rate of 12 to 14% that banks charge on personal loans.
