This is with reference to the credit card number [protected]. On february 13 2017, we purchased a mobile phone through amazon as we saw an advertisement in the news paper saying “6000rs cash back using hdfc credit cards”
We checked with customer service whether we are eligible for this cash back and then we purchased the mobile phone
We kept following up for the cash back. Whenever i approached the call centre, they told you will be getting in 3 months time
So we waited long. Every time we got a response as wait for a week or check your statement
During july 1st week, when we contacted the customer service, they told that we are not eligible. This is absolutely ridiculous
Then we raised a complaint and they told that they will get the cash back in a week time
Later on our card was lost and we blocked the card, so after two weeks when we called, they could not track the complaint and we have to raise the complaint once again
Yesterday when i called, they asked to contact you through email
I need the cash back of rs.6000 as soon as possible. Otherwise i am going to apply for card with icici. We are very much frustrated with the service of hdfc. We always have issue from last year november on one thing or the other.
I am looking for your immediate action in this regards. Otherwise i am going to take it up in consumer complaint and social media.
Please don’t cheat the customer. If i have not checked with the customer service before buying, it is my problem. But your people confirmed that we have a cash back and now you cannot deny your words.
