Hi,
In may 2019, i got a call from my hdfc relation manager mr. Jatin saying that based on my salary and salary account, hdfc is offering me lifetime free credit card diners club black international. They asked me to sign a document for smart pay activation, which i did.
Now, after 4 months i. E. September 2019, they charged me rs 5000 + gst of 900. For this, i complained in customer care, and i got a call after 5 days that issue has been resolved and they will refund the fees and gst. I asked them to send an email confirmation about the same. But i did not get it for next 10 days. So, i wrote an email to customer care of hdfc credit card telling them about the situation. For my surprise, they told that card was lifetime free based on a condition that i will have to open a saving bank account in hdfc. I did not sign any such document as i already have a salary and savings account in hdfc bank.
Now, when i am asking them to share the scanned copy of my credit card application form which i signed, they are denying for that.
This is completely a big fraud first by my relationship manager mr. Jatin and then by hdfc bank as a whole.
