HDFC Bank collection team is running a fraud by fooling customers who take settlement. These collection team people become friendly with customers and deliberately invalidate their settlement by asking them to pay only a part of the total due amount and then promise they will extend their settlement time period by a couple of months or four months. These people are cunning and once they have invalidated your settlement, they will stop responding to you. The helpless customer approaches HDFC who then flatly nullify whatever payment you have made and ask to go for resettlement.
The same case happened to me as I had taken settlement for credit cards ending 9031 and 2939 which I had to pay in installments. As I was going through personal issues, the HDFC collection agent Raghav assured me that he will extend the settlement period by two months and instead of March 2018, I can pay by May 2018. Now when I have paid the entire amount and approach HDFC for NOC, they are flatly refusing to give the NOC and say that the settlement is invalidated. They will now charge high interest rate and put all the money I have paid as interest and ask me to continue paying all my money to them.
The HDFC teams are full of fraudsters and criminals who are handpicked to give maximum money to the bank which will pay them nice commission. HDFC people will go to any extend to cheat customer, even if the customer is in deep crisis.
I dont know how many people HDFC is cheating by all these dubious means. This is a clear case of cheating, HDFC cannot absolve itself of all this as these collection people are part of HDFC team and they cannot just turn away.
