[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Failed ATM transaction..but the amount was not reverted back into my account

Dear Sir,
I have done an ATM transaction through SBH-ATM mechine, Kelambakkam using my HDFC card on 02/04/2017. During that transaction, money was not dispensed from the SBH -ATM machine but the amount 4000 INR was deducted from my HDFC account.I have booked a complaint through phone banking on 05/04/2017 and the complaint reference number ID is 1288051.They have promised me that it will be reverted back into my account within 7 working days.Today is the 8th working day from the date of complaint, so far the amount is not credited in to my account.
I therefore request you to kindly take necessary action in this matter.

HDFC Bank Customer Care's response Dear Customer,

As per Visa / MasterCard guidelines, the amount will get reversed to your account by 15-Apr-17, provided we do not receive the proof of transaction from the Acquiring Bank.
