Hi,
I have been using HDFC salary a/c for the last 7 years. I have availed personal loan earlier and I have topup it on a couple of years back. And now due to my medical need am in a situation to avail a top up again.
I had a call from HDFC customer care stating that am eligible for an offer of pre-approved 10 minutes loan of 2, 55, 000 that was available in my net banking offers tab. When I approached to the executive at HDFC bank named Aruna regarding this, she stated that it is a false thing and it is a way of the employee’s marketing technique of reaching their target in the bank.
She stated that it will be a high percentage of interest if the customer proceeds with the offer. She promised to get me the loan at my existing % of interest and she asked me to neglect the offer that was available in my net banking. So believing her, I submitted my proper documents. After the documents are submitted she is not giving a proper response. She is either picking up my call or not giving a response on my loan application status. She had taken my application as a count for her monthly target and no progress was made, As a result am out of money for my family medical need which is un avoidable.
Adding to that when I tried to reach her through landline, one of her colleague said that she is in a meeting with her manager. But later the reply from Aruna was that she was on a leave that day.
Because of her I lost my PL loan offer that was available and am into a huge trouble to support my family through medical needs.
I merely believed her by the way she spoke. Am registering a complaint to ensure that this does not happen to any of the customer of HDFC. Due to her am in a huge struggle to face my medical needs for my family.
