I have been a patron for HDFC for quite a long time. Though my home bank account is in Delhi, due to the lock down i got stuck in Imphal during my stay at my home town. Meanwhile someone from the bank caĺled me and informed about the pre-approved loan. Hence i availed it. No payment was made during the moratorium period stipulated by govt. I wasn't aware that it got over and have to make payment. Before i could make any arrangements for repayment of the loan, a collection agent named Brajagopal from HDFC, Thoubal branch called me to make arrangements for payments. It was agreed that my husband would visit the branch the next day and pay the pending EMI amount. The next day while my husband was on the way to the branch, the said agent called me again and started talking in a very bad tone without any courtesy. I am extremely disappointed. During this pandemic everyone is going through a bad phase and one should be considerate & courteous enough to understand. Another bank employee named Roshan also called up and instead of apologizing and making the things right, he was justifying the action of Brajagopal. Then
I and my husband demanded him to let us speak to the manager so that we can bring forth the behavior of his/her bank employees. To which Roshan said go to whosoever you like to complain and doesn't care a bit. Then he hung up. After a while Brajagopal and another bank employee have been spamming me by calling me incessantly over the phone.They are harrassing me. They called us to come to their bank branch which is Hdfc bank, Thoubal, Manipur, almost 20-30km away from my home. When I asked him why can't I go and make the payment to the nearest bank his reasoning was unreasonable. I guess your bank give its customers the right to do banking from anywhere then why am I being singled out to go to a far away bank just for paying up my EMI? I'll never go to the Hdfc Thoubal branch where I'm treated in a manner as if I'm begging from them. I would like your bank to take this matter seriously for the rudeness and harassment.
I am extremely disappointed with the way the customer are being treated for taking pre-approved loans in their names from a bank they thought would treat them with courtesy. I'll attach the names and phone numbers of the two employees who have been harrassing and spamming me. Also I have their voice call records if required.
MR. BRAJAGOPAL THOUNAOJAM HAS BEEN HARASSING ME SINCE EARLY MORNING BY CALLING ME INCESSANTLY, MORE THAN 70 CALLS TO BE PRECISE AND HASN'T STOPPED CALLING ME. I'M THREATENED BY HIS BEHAVIOR. PLEASE HELP Was this information helpful? |
