I was charged an amc of around rs.2950 even though i was told it was a life time free card and also i had taken steps to link my lic smart pay to my card. So, i had sent a email with reference id re:'hbl=[protected]' regarding this issue and no one responded me nor the customer services picked up the calls even after trying 20 times (Always the call gets redirected to auto mode with response as limited services due to covid and gets disconnected).
As no one responded to my issues/concerns on email or call regarding this amc charges, i had visited the hdfc bank at ooty (643001) branch on 05 sep, 2020 in tamil nadu and requested for closure of this card before a few days of my due date on 08 sep, 2020 and also i had cleared all my dues and had an extra credit of rs.6 except this amc charge of rs.2950 which is for the upcoming year renewal, which i don't want to pay and continue.
I had again written an email to know the details of my card closure with ticket id 'hbl=[protected]', but still no one has responded to my email. I got an email statement again for rs.2954 due on october.
What really is happening here with the customer service and branch services of hdfc even after me submitting the form to close my credit card? I want to know the status of this card closure now and close this if not still done. Was this information helpful? |
