I am a classic customer with hdfc bank and have a credit card that i have from hdfc bank.
There was fraudulent transaction of rs.4000 on my credit on oct 24th night at 11 30pm (The card was almost a new one and had not used it at pos and any atm machine - so i think the fraud is originating within hdfc bank itself). I got a call minute later asking if i did this transaction and i said no. Despite that the transaction was not cancelled. Post that next day morning i called and registered a complaint. I was told that the temporary credit for this account will be given in next 5 business days.
I got a call from someone named indu who asked to register a police compliant, fill some 10 forms etc and send across to her. I sent it across and have not heard back till date. Whenever i call phone banking no proper response. They dont a mechanism for feedback and despite several requests to talk to a supervisor my calls are always disconnected. They have now generated a statement and asking me to pay the 40000rs. I dont even know if the person who called and took all details from me was a legitimate person.
Being a classic customer, i have been assigned a phone banker who is supposed to assist with all these queries but is not doing anything. The worst customer service ever across any banks! Was this information helpful? |
