HDFC Bank — imps timed out at beneficiary bank

I did an imps on 1st october, 2019 from my hdfc to kotak bank for rs 30k. The money got deducted from my account but recepient has not received it. The transaction status is suspicious on hdfc netbanking portal and also the sms received says "transaction timed out" Had tried speaking to customer care at hdfc and he said the payment will get reversed in 3 days. It was an urgent payment and the purpose of imps seems void in this case and i am not able to transfer money which is blocked.
