[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Inconvenient service

Hello,
This is regarding the inconveniences caused due to lack of proper service provided by hdfc bank. Let me explain the whole issue from starting.in the month of march 2017 i requested the customer care service of hdfc bank for a higher security card (Debit card) and he took the request and explained me the whole procedure for the same saying the card will get delivered within a week to my registered address​ (Which is in hyderabad), but as currently i am staying in mumbai for work i requested him that time only to please send the new debit card to the nearest branch of goregaon (Place where i am staying currently). He took the request and said the card will get delivered to the hdfc goregaon east branch near dindoshi within a week and endured me that until and unless i collect the new debit card from the bank the current debit card which i am using will not get deactivated. Today i got a message from hdfc bank saying my card has been deactivated. When i call the customer care service of hdfc bank they said i need to visit the bank and collect it and there is no other solution.
The question is if i have not yet collected ​the new debit card from the bank how can hdfc bank deactivate my current card.
I talked to the flow manager of hdfc bank also and explained him the whole issue. He apologized and accepted the fault in the service but didn't provide any solution. I requested him to please reactivate my card as i will not be able to collect the card because of my office timings but they refused to provide me any kind of support. They simply told me that strict action will be taken against the agent who gave me wrong information regarding the card renewal process and asked me to collect the card from the bank only.

I hereby want to launch a complaint against hdfc bank for all this unconvince caused and for not providing any solution despite of accepting their own fault.
