MY HDFC Life policy has matured on 27th March; I was informed in February that I need to submit my KYC details and a cancelled cheque to [protected]@hdfclife.com; I submitted these documents on 28th of Feb. I received no acknowledgment and no response from HDFC life. On 3rd of march i was advised that I need forward the email to [protected]@hdfclife.com which I did. I was asked to submit the details in pdf format which I did. Again i was told there are some documents missing (a discharge voucher and a confirmation letter which was not shared to me earlier). I re-submitted these docs on march 8th and I got an acknowledgement that my claim is under process on 10th march and if there is any requirement i will be notified. I did not hear from HDFC life post that. On 30th of march when i called the service helpline i got a response that the documents are not clear; when i enquired as to what is the issue with the documents i was told they are not aware. Tired and frustrated i visited their branch and submitted the physical copies (where i was asked for additional kya details). Again, I was told in case there is a requirement i will hear back from hdfc life which did not happen. When i called their helpline today 7th of April i was told the beneficiary address is not matching i need to submit a address change request.
Its been more than a month since 28th feb when i initially submitted the documents there has been absolutely no communication from HDFC life on further requirements, when i call them only then i know there are details required. While accepting physical copies in branch no one informed that a address change is required, and i am being asked to submit addres proof again? Was this information helpful? |
