We have checked our records and confirm that the charge of Rs. 1, 116.90 levied to your account pertains to ACH debit return.
In terms of Clearing guidelines, issued by RBI, the clear fund's balance available in the account at the beginning of the day would be considered for the purpose of ACH(s) received in the clearing. We note that in your said account, the clear fund's balance at the time of presentation of the said ACH(s), was not sufficient to cover the ACH(s) received in the clearing.
Therefore the ACH(s) was returned due to insufficient funds and the corresponding charges for ACH(s) dishonor were levied to your account. Kindly note that these charges attract GST as applicable.
We advise you to maintain sufficient clear funds balance in the account in the future, at the time of issuance of the ACH(s), to avoid the ACH(s) return charges being levied to your account.

Updated by hkmtc While I today check my statement balance showing balance of Rs -2954. Till date im not received refund which are you commitment.
Very Bad Experience with HDFC bank. Today I feel not comfortable for banking with HDFC. They are charges very huge amount penalty.
Please suggest how to maintain Minimum Balance in Account current situation Covid 19.Right now, 2 to 3 months I am not in the condition that I do the minimum balance in the account.
Kindly Note if not get solution of my query in time. I'm going to close my account.
Please give me clarify why my account in -2955. And I'm not going to pay this penalty.
Kindly threat this matter as urgent.
Also request to you Please support.

2.I'm not going to pay this penalty.
Kindly Note if not get solution of my query in time. Than suggest account closer process... Because I'm depend in salary...
