I made a payment for college fees using HDFC Bank net banking option. The amount was really huge.. as soon as I entered the OTP, I received a message in the college portal saying session time out.
But I got message from HDFC that my money is debited..
I thought I'll wait for the transaction to get reverted.. but it's been 4 days I haven't received the amount back..
I regsitered a complaint in the net banking portal, got a docket number thorugh mail, using which I filled a complaint form as well. But it's been 2 days haven't got any response.
I also called the bangalore customer care number, made all the necessary key presses, ultimately when it was time to connect to customer care executive, the call would automatically get cut..
I tried calling my branch number, that was computer generated too and gave me a link as a message which redirected me to some EVA assistant.
THIS WAS NOT EXPECTED FROM HDFC.
I had always thought that HDFC would have one of the best user experiences.. and I'm sorry to say that I'm really disppointed. A huge money of mine is still trapped and I'm losing out on the last date of fees payment of college.
As a customer now I'm clueless as to what to do. I tried every single option available online. Can't go to any nearby branch also due to Corona scene.
