HDFC Bank — Money not reversed that was deducted due to UPI transaction failure

I had paid the merchant (Metro Shoes Ltd) for an online order via Google pay on 1st August 2020. The transaction failed but amount of Rs.1605.50 got deducted from my account.I contacted the merchant and they mentioned that it was a transaction failure and they didn't receive the payment. They even shared the screenshot of their payment gateway. Then I contacted HDFC Bank customer service regarding the same explaining the issue along with the merchant's screenshot.
