HDFC Bank — Need help closing the policy and refund.

Policy no. # 12548966...I had been to the Pune office as wanted to Close the Policy and wanted the refund with whatever i paid as i didn't find it beneficial, But i was told to pay some 1 lakh over it to close it...need your help in closing the same...i dont want to continue with HDFC life...it feels like cheated.When i want to inquire anything either they hang up on the customer service or they dont want to reply.
