1. I have an account in HDFC Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh.
2. I tried to make a purchase worth Rs.705 on 8th April, 2017 using netbanking facility linked to my account.
3. The action was abruptly aborted because of loss in connectivity and the payment was aborted.
4. I rang up the merchant and he acknowledged verbally the failure of the payment and also sent me a mail confirming the same.
5. However the bank account statement says that money was deducted for the failed transaction.
6. I have contacted the bank through mails over three times now, but no satisfactory response has followed. Even the call centres do not connect because they ask for phonebanking pin just for speaking to their representatives.
7. Such behaviour from HDFC Bank is not at all customer and user friendly. The bank should smoothen it's channel for the ease of access of it's customers.
8. Kindly refund my hard earned money back to me at the earliest and save me further inconvenience.
