I was using hdfc bank saving account from many years. I have used thoroughly in a good manner after sometime i went to out of country for a year probably to do some office work, there was some genuine reason and one day i checked my account to deposit some amount but when i have seen rs 9000 negative balance i was completely shocked and did not deposit the money. One of my friend borrowed some money from me and when he tried to return the money he just transferred to hdfc bank when i came to know literally i fought with my friend and i said leave it now. Now i am in india and i don't have any option even my company is linked with hdfc and spoke with branch manager but didn't get any sufficient answer and she said half atleast you have to pay so i have paid as this is not my wish but my compel to do that.
If possible they should refund else take strict action.
