My lic bill with due date nov-16 for rs. 6480 was registered in hdfc bank to pay insurance premium payment for policy[protected] to lic india (Life insurance corporation of india). I tried to pay it using payzapp application on 10-nov-16. This transaction was failed. I received the document from hdfc which shows the transaction details. The supporting document shows the amount was iniitally failed on 10-nov-16, finally paid to merchant ubpp payzapp bilpay on 31-mar-17, not to lic which is the actual recepient for this policy. This is shocking how hdfc sent the failed transaction to payzapp bill pay again... There is no mention of lic or policy number in the document. So, it is clear that payzapp bill pay and hdfc credit card has cheated me.
Lic already confirmed me 3-4 times that they haven't received any kind of payment from payzapp bill service. Since payzapp bill pay did not pay lic bill on time, i had to pay lic premium with fine using my netbanking on 18-jan-17.
I have contacted hdfc credit card customer care many times. They said this payment transaction was successful and it is reflecting in my aug-17 hdfc credit card and refused to refund. I have followed up payzapp customer care ph. [protected]) for nearly 6 months. They are not responding.
I am submitting this complaint against hdfc credit card and payzapp which has done this fraudulent transaction for my life insurance policy and cheated the customer.
Please assist.
