[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — not receiving otp on email

Dear bank,

I stay out of india and due to unknown reasons my registered mobile number is inactive (Issue from airtel), hence for any transactions i want to make i dont get otp. Alternatively if the otp was received on e-mail things would be much easy.
Can you kindly look into this urgently and fix this please.

Also my net banking password has expired and when i change the password, it again send OTP which i cannot receive. Kindly activate the OTP on e-mail please urgently.

OTP for netbanking/debit card transactions are sent on the registered mobile number only. Incase you wish to change the mobile number, please send the signed scanned copy of physical request (as per below format), regarding mobile number updation, from your registered email id to [protected]@hdfcbank.com . We wish to inform you that you request for mobile number updation will not be processed, if it carries any other instructions ( e.g. Address change, Email ID change, Netbanking request. etc.) along with it. Please note letter should contain your Account number, Customer ID, Old Mobile number and the New International Mobile Number along with country code that the needs to be updated. There should be no special characters / 00/ space present before the country code and mobile number. NOTE : 1. Request received from unregistered email ID will not be accepted 2. Request for updation of Indian Mobile number will not be accepted. Format for Request for change of mobile number Date:_____________ To, HDFC Bank Ltd, Branch Name: Subject: Request for change of mobile number Dear Sir, I undersigned, ________________________________( Account holder Name )hereby request you to kindly update my new mobile number, since I currently reside overseas and unable to visit branch personally.
