Hey don't go for hdfc bank at all. They are not at all customer centric, me being 7 years old customer with a saving account, but i will say that these people will never help you. Today i was trying to book flight tickets from make my trip, we entered my husband's credit card as we r a jet privilege member, so we wanted to take miles benefit, but whenever entering it was giving an error stating invalid card. I called up the customer care 4 times for the same reason but they said the card is active, try after sometime, as expected they didn't had a proper answer so. I went back after sometime and it again gave me the same error. So i logged into smart buy so that i can try using other applications, but there was no option to enter credit card details then i called up the customer care again, i spoke with ashish yadav, associate created his own iternary just to check if he is getting this option to pay via cc or not, he was also not getting so he told me to select netbanking, after logging in i will get an option to select my credit card, so i thought to login back into make my trip, there i clicked netbanking so that i will get an option to select card as customer care associate told me but after logging in i didn't got any option and the payment was directly deducted. No otp no card selection nothing. So the associate fooled me, if you don't have the knowledge then why do u give fake information to customers. Post that i called mmr as my booking was confirmed and i. Never wanted to make the payment by netbanking. Mmt was ready to help me completely but they told they cannot revert the convenience charge as it was charged by the bank rest they will refund, when i called the bank to explain what happened, i asked for a waiver of convenience. Fees so that i can do a fresh booking from cc just bcoz of the benefits and i m a frequent flyer but they totally denied it and said that i made the incorrect choice and they can't do. Anyhting apart from regretting
It was just a matter of rs 545 for them. We spoke with floor supervisor also but he was also useless as there associate. These people never try to retain there customer he said he is ok if i close the account and take any action. He said it's my call, they r not even bothered. Bcoz of all this i didn't get any benefit, i spent rs 7300 without any benefit. I would have used my debit card but just bcoz the associates misguided my payment was done through net banking which is of no use. So i will be switching the bank account and credit card to kotak or icici, at least they value there customer. Pls don't go for hdfc at all.
