[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — poor customer service and billing issue

Dear Sir,

I am a Client of your bank since Sep 2016, I hold HDFC bank credit card # [protected]

I wish to bring to your notice how unprofessional arrogant and rude people you have recruited under prefix of customer service.

I have made an electronic purchase of 14, 900 last month and contacting your phone banking cell to convert this amount into EMI since 4th Nov.
I have been informed that EMI facility is not available for me on my card, however I have availed this facility in the past without any hassle.

Few months back I was getting sms notification from your marketing team to convert my smaller amount of 3800 into EMI, which I ignored as I had payed whole amount before due date.
So why you are not letting me use EMI facility this time for bill of larger amount?

3 times I have phoned banking cell and every time I requested CSE to put my request before controlling authority.

And today I had a terrible experience dealing with one of your CSE (named – Ashish), I requested him to check if my past request has been addressed and EMI facility is available now.

Which that guy has turned down very rudely, and offered me to go for Loan instead,
Which will cost more to me compared to EMI with onetime fee of 590 and interest. His tone and language was unprofessional he didn’t; listen to my query moreover he was not listening to me and was emphasizing more on what he want to offer and at the end when I was conveying my concerns your PHONE BAKING OFFICER HAS BANGED DOWN THE PHONE, WITHOUT LISTENING TO ME.

How will you justify such unprofessional behavior by your staff?
Why you push on things which you want to sell and why can’t focus on Customer’s need???
I am ready to pay whatever interest levied on me for converting my bill into EMI, why I’ve been asked to go for another loan?

And adding salt to injuries I have been charged 568 rs as Finance charge in Nov Month billing cycle, when asked your CSE to justify on what account finance charges have been charged, to which he explained me one process. if I calculate interest through his theory then finance charge for month would pileup up to 90%, which is outrageous unacceptable and unethical in financial terms.

I am pissed by following up with your phone banking cell since 4th of this month.

As a last hope requesting you to address my below mentioned 2 queries and move it to state of closure.

1) Covert my last month purchase into EMI
2) Wave o[censored]nethical finance charge of 568 rs.
