I have a personal loan with Kotak Bank, for which the EMI is auto debited from my HDFC account. Even after applying for EMI Moratorium, Kotak bank tried to charge my account for the EMI, which, due to insufficient balance, bounced. This not only charged me Debit Return Charges but have also made my bank balance as negative. The amounts were charged in the month of April and in June.
HDFC says to contact Kotak as they tried to charge the EMI. Kotak says to contact HDFC as the return fee was charged by them and HDFC would refund it. I’m just being tossed from one bank to another.
I have emailed several times; (HBL[protected], HBL[protected], HBL[protected], HBL[protected]; none of them is a valid reference number when I try to enter it online), but have received no positive response.
Please do look into it. Please call me on [protected] or give me a number to call. And if you cannot refund the charges, do let me know so that I can take further actions. I’m tired to emailing again and again. Was this information helpful? |
