[Resolved] HDFC Bank — Return of wrongly debited money

I am varadarajan mani maintaining a bank account with hdfc, chitlapakkam branch. My account number is [protected]. Sterling holidays at kodaikkanal had debited my account for my stay in their resort. They had wrongly debited my account twice because of an issue with their debit card swiping machine but one entry was cancelled by them and they have confirmed over an email that they have received the credit only once. The amount is inr 15, 239. I have contacted hdfc with the sale reversal slip and requested them to re-credit the amount of 15, 239. Hdfc has not done it till today and they are remaining silent on this issue. It has been pending for 15 days. I am mentally harassed and i need your help to fix this issue. I want to be compensated for this harassment and want my money back. On contacting hdfc they are saying this is the standard procedure to resolve such complaints whereas generally reversals and re-credit do not take more than 3 days. They are not responding or calling me also.
