I received an invite for Preferred banking via email, so I thought that might be I'm an valuable customer that's why I received that invitation. I was very excited and curious to know about the Preferred banking.
I called up on HDFC customer care to enquire about the Preferred banking program but that agent "ANISHA" was not much about Preferred banking. Inspite of providing me info about Preferred banking she was trying to insisting me to upgrade my credit card.
At that time she was very pushy to upgrade my credit card from Business Regalia first to Business Regalia, so I upgraded my credit card over the same call.
When I received my upgraded credit card, I got shocked to know that earlier upgradation my Reward Point was 981 and after upgrading my card I got only 189 Reward Point.
Again I called up on customer care number and asked them why my points have been deducted, so the agent advised me this is the procedure of credit card upgradation. I informed her that I was not aware about that and agent ANISHA also did not inform me for this.
I did so much follow-ups and had word with the SME team also but they told me they are helpless, they can't do anything with rewards points now. Seems that they were not willing to give any positive response on this.
Dude why agent ANISHA didn't advised me about the deduction of my Reward Points. It's not my fault, if I was aware about the deduction of Rewards points then, first I would prefer to exhauste my reward points then would have upgraded my credit card.
Please look into this matter and do the needful. I need my reward points back, which HDFC looted from me without informing me. Was this information helpful? |
