Hello,
I am T K Viswanath, with a Demat Account with HDFC Securities. My Demat Account Number is 43XXXX36.
The MICR Code & IFSC Code for the account linked to my Demat Account is not updated. I had asked for the means by which this could be done and I was told to submit a duly filled Dividend Mandate Form along with a cancelled cheque.
I had done the above twice and on both occasions it was rejected on the grounds that there was a mismatch in signature. The first time I had submitted the form (sent duly filled form by courier) directly to mumbai branch and on the second occasion I submitted it at HDFC Bank Hitec City / Madhapur Branch, Hyderabad.
On the second occasion I was then told by HDFC Bank Hitec City / Madhapur Branch, Hyderabad that there was again a signature mismatch and that my request was rejected.
On 10th March 2014, I went to HDFC Bank Hitec City / Madhapur Branch, Hyderabad and submit requests to
1. Update signature/address (Submitted duly filled in KYC form - attested by Branch & address / phone number change form )
2. Dividend Mandate Form along with cancelled cheque
Supporting documents I submitted are
1. Photograph
2. Address Proof (Passport Copy)
3. Cancelled Cheque
TILL NOW ie 26th March 2014 nothing is done. HDFC Bank Hitec City / Madhapur Branch, Hyderabad Branch people says its being handled by Mumbai Team and Mumbai Team says Branch hasnt processed.
