I recently got a current account with hdfc. I am fed up with the services of the bank and the process. For the same account, verification is done by different departments. There is no single front of the bank - account opening team is different, edc machine team is different, payzapp team different.
The verification for opening the account was done by the bank. Then again upon application of edc machine, the verification was done and then after allotment of edc machine another verification was done. The registered corporate address of the company and the correspondence address of the company is different. These guys keep sending people to the corporate address - which is opened only as per need and for meetings. As the place was close the day the secret verification visit was done, they have blocked the edc machine and payzapp link. These guys are only interested in duping their customers. They are charging so high at every transaction but are not providing the customer service for which we had chosen to open the account in a private bank. The correspondence address place is opened throughout the day but their officials are somehow not updating this.
The business is suffering as there is no edc mode or internet banking mode of payment for my customers.
Dont know if all bank branches are the same but sector 11 dwarka branch in new delhi is pathetic. They took more than a month to open a single account and another month for edc machine. Now they have blocked everything. Our only job after opening account with them is to keep verifying ourselves to the multitude of teams they keep sending. Was this information helpful? |
