With reference to the above mentioned subject:
1. On dated 01.09.2019, I have submitted my duly filled application to cc.[protected]@hdfcbank.com and PriorityRedressal.[protected]@hdfcbank.com.
2. On the same day (dated 01.09.2019), I have also called HDFCBANK representative at [protected] around 8 PM, he said sorry and gave the no. [protected]. I have tried this number several times but I could not connect with any representative of HDFCBANK CREDIT card division.
3. Till the time I have not received any response from cc.[protected]@hdfcbank.com.
4. On dated 03.09.2019, I have received following standard cut and paste reply from PriorityRedressal.[protected]@hdfcbank.com:
“Basis your current representation, we are taking up the matter for appropriate review. We shall respond to you in 9 working days and we request you to bear with us in the interim.”
5. I have not find any information/ process on official website of HDFCBANK regarding closure of Credit card permanently. I have only found credit card closure form https://www.hdfcbank.com/assets/pdf/CREDIT-CARD-CLOSURE-FORM.pdf.
On the form it is mentioned that “Duly filled in redemption on coupon to be sent to the following address. HDFC Bank Cards Division, P.O.Box No.8654, Thiruvanmiyur P.O. Chennai - 600 041 “.
6. Due to absence of any proper information regarding closure of hdfcbank credit card. I have sent hard copy of my duly filled application to HDFC Bank Cards Division, P.O.Box No.8654, Thiruvanmiyur P.O. Chennai - 600 041 through India speed post (RE[protected]IN).
7. In reference to tracking details, the letter was delivered to the office of HDFC Bank Cards Division on dated 07.09.2019.
8. On dated 10.09.2019, I have received following text sms from AX-HDFCBK “ Dear Customer, we are in receipt of your letter regarding credit card query and will respond to you shortly-hdfcbank.”
9. My reason to close credit card of hdfcbank permanently: Poor, Pathetic and Non-transparent service of HDFCBANK’ CREDIT CARD.
10. Till the time hdfcbank has not closed my credit card permanently.
