Same with me. I've transferred huge money which has times out. Customer service does not respond. It's terrible
The same issue happened to me today in HDFC. I also called customer care, but couldn't get connected. Someone, please tell me how long will it get reverted or credited to the beneficiary.
Today I made a IMPS transaction from HDFC bank to Canara Bank. The RRN number is[protected].
The transaction says it's timed out.
The amount is debited from my account but it has not credited to the beneficiary account.
When reached out to beneficiary bank, they said the amount has not been credited and to contact HDFC Bank.
This is really not acceptable from HDFC bank, I tried reaching out to HDFC customer care, but I couldn't get connected even after trying for more than 45 mins.
I tried reaching out to my customer relationship manager, no response.
Is this your service? I'm customer of HDFC bank since 2011, now I might have to think of choosing other banks if this is the pathetic service

Same issue has happened with me also. It got timed out and amount got deducted asking to contact beneficiary's end.
It seems HDFC bank has some issue in IMPS transactions, Like all, my transactions also got timed out, and amount is still not credited to none of the account. I have dropped email to support but no response as of now.

I have the same what is wrong with stupid HDFC bank
One of my relative is hospitalised and they needed 50, 000 urgently to pay bills at the hospital but money is stuck in the process. I got transaction timeout error at my end and money got deducted.

I’m facing the same issue. Transaction got timed out and money not returned. Don’t understand the logic of waiting two days and checking beneficiary statement along with their account number. There has to be something else to do.

I am facing the exact same issue, around 60k is stuck somewhere, neither reflected back in my HDFC account nor received at beneficiary account. It's been more than 24 hours now. HDFC bank is so pathetic, what if this fund transfer is time sensitive? There is no way to call them and fix this bcz they aren't taking the blame says it happened at the beneficiary account end, not even able to provide a timeline to fix this.Horrible bank for real.

I am also facing this issue. I transferred a huge amount from my HDFC bank account to another bank account. Money got deducted and got success message displayed on screen. But at same time received 2 SMS messages, earlier one saying money deducted from my account and next one with timed out error. Worst part is even the transaction is timed out at beneficiary's end the money is not credited back to my account. Rather HDFC bank is advising to ask beneficiary to check with their bank. This is not done. HDFC should revert such transactions immediately. In this pandemic situation, reaching the money to needy is very critical.
I am also facing exact same issue.. I transferred 30k to other bank via IMPS and then transaction was timed out but money got debited.. Can HDFC bank tell me till when money will be refunded to my account or transferred to payee..

I received transaction timed-out message on my register mobile, however the amount was deducted from my account and was not delivered to other end.
This is worst issue from HDFC in same month. Why dont you credit it back when Transaction timed out and money debited from account??? What if its very urgent like to pay bills in Somewhere and dont have any extra money.???

I am right now out of India and it is really a pathetic situation to manage all these from here. I already emailed them also tried to reach the customer care but the numbers are not working.
Please help as this is an urgent situation. I need this money to get back and pay the creditors and no extra amount in my account to pay. Please help what you all did next to get back that money.
