[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — unauthorised payments ref.no. amazon1258399

Hi,
From 04 january 2020 every month there is unauthorised payment against ref. No. Amazon1258399 being deducted from my card no. Xxxx9655 on every 4th/5th of the month without otp. I raised my complaints to amazon no. Of times and given statements for all such payments and called hdfc bank as well but getting no resolution till date. Last night i received message as below:
Alert:rs.758.99 spent via credit card xx9655 at amazon1258399 on[protected]:00:37:06 without pin/otp. Not you? Call [protected]. From my card total payment of approx ₹1500 has been deducted. I have even removed my card details from amazon account even then such deductions are being made. I can not rely on amazon and hdfc bank both. Looking for proper resolution to my complaint.

I have faced a similar issue today and earlier. My HDFC credit card was deducted with Rs 70.98 and I received SMS as:
ALERT:Rs.70.96 spent via CREDIT Card xx7575 at AMAZON1258399 on[protected]:07:53:01 without PIN/OTP.Not you?Call [protected].

Have HDFC bank checked on your complaint and reverted?

i also recieved same message today. Transaction was of Rs. 199. Is there any solution for this ? HDFC customer care is also not working ..

I have received this message today. The transaction was booked without using my other or pin. How did this happen. Dont you have any controls over such kind of transactions? People are complaining about this fraud every then and now, where is the resolution? You want people to publish this on social site?

I googled the same exact code as I had the same message until I realised I had authorised an audible payment every month for my sister. Check if you or someone in your family has done the same.

Hi,

I have received the same message last night stating I have spent 999.0 from my HDFC credit card at amazon1258399 without pin/OTP. I have attached the screenshot of the message please check.

How is this fraud happening, I can see here everyone is having the same complaint and still no permanent resolution.

Please resolve this issue on priority.

The same thing is happening with me also for the last 3-4 months 199 Rs each and every time.

This is the message I have been receiving for more than 6 months even though I have cancelled my Klindle unlimited subscription on Amazon.in. I had initiated communication with Amazon.in & they, in turn confirmed that I do not have any subscription. Screenshot from Amazonin is enclosed. Need an immediate resolution of this naghing issue.
