I got a call from hdfc bank on 3rd of feb 2018 regarding increase of credit limit, points related to hdfc credit card and also for hdfc egro accidental insurance policy. The representative called, told me i need not have to panic because everything she is providing is free of charge and no amount will be deducted from my credit card.
In case of hdfc egro accidental policy rs 11, 743 was deducted from credit card and rs 1, 899 as one assit mfee. The representative told me that this policy is free for 1 year and after one year i may or may not continue. Seeing the deducted amount i immediately send a mail on 5th of feb 2018 to cancel the policy and to refund the money.
After checking my credit statement i came to know that rs 11, 743 was returned to my credit card account but rs 1899 was still pending.
Some smat fee for rs 117.43 was also added to my credit statement.
I have been a loyal customer for hdfc bank for more than 15 years. Seeing these transactions i doubt to remain a customer of hdfc bank.
I am not willing to pay or bear any charges for this misleading commitments by your hdfc customer care representative.
So, kindly write off these charges from my credit card account or do the necessary at your earliest Was this information helpful? |
