I paid the yearly premium of my policy to hdfc insurance staff perumal on march 20, 2017. When i asked for a receipt, he said there is no need as he will personally deposit the cheque in my account. After that, there has been no contact from him. This happened in hdfc insurance, dlf it park, porur, chennai. After that, i have made 5 complaints in total over the phone to hdfc customer care and amazingly, all 5 times i was just given a normal template, "we will get back to you in 48-72 hours". It has been more than 2 months and no agent has gotten back to me with a resolution. And the last agent who spoke with me said an interesting thing that hdfc will not take any complaint over the phone and the only way to complaint is to email.
An amazing fact to note: my last year's premium was made to the same office via cheque to a different agent and it took one and half months for your agent to deposit my cheque, that too after some 3-4 complaints.
Please note that i had paid my cheque well within the due time and i will not be responsible for any penalty for this delayed payment of my premium.
This is my 6 th attempt. If hdfc is not going to answer me, i will have to proceed this legally and i will also spread this incident in all the social media applicable. Was this information helpful? |
