Dear Sir/Madam,
I hereby serve cue the following notice upon you:
1. You had issued cheque no. 117590 dated 16/12/2014 for Rs.2, 700.00 (Rupees Two Thousand Seven Hundred only) drawn on HDFC Bank Ltd, Fort Branch, Maneckji Wadia Building, Nanik Motwani Marg, Fort Mumbai 400 001 against your debt or liability under FDB026272 interest warrant no. 278828 A/c no. [protected].
2. I presented the above mentioned cheque. However, the said cheque was returned unpaid to me by your bank.
3. My Bank vide its memo dated 18th December 2014, ( received by me on 19th December, 2014) has informed me that the cheque is returned unpaid due to FUND INSUFFICIENT.
4. I hereby service notice on you to pay the aforesaid amount within fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of this notice.
5. In case I do not receive the money as demanded above, I shall be constrained to take legal action against you under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Act no.26 of 1881) as mentioned up to date and other relevant laws as applicable.
