I purchased the DC HITACHI INVERTER -3 STAR on 25.4.2016. This was sparingly used by me as we are only two members in the family.
2. I telephoned the Hitachi Home & Life Solutions, Mathura Road, Delhi 110044 on No.[protected] on 8th April, 2022, complaining that the AC is not functioning. The complaint was forwarded to the HIND AIR COOL, Jasola Vihar, Okhla, New Delhi – 110025.
3. On 10th April, 2022, the PCB (Indoor & Outdoor) was removed by the Hind Air Cool Technician for replacement and re-installed the PCB on the next day. The AC functioned only for a few hours. (Copy uploaded, dated 10th April, 2022).
4. A sum of Rs. 8000/- was paid to Hind Air Cool who promised to give the official receipt with revenue stamp affixed within 2 to 3 days. But he failed to revert back. Repeated complaints to Sri. Sarfraz through telephones & Whatsapp failed to elicit any response.
5. You would appreciate that I have suffered a loss of Rs. 8000/- as the Hind Air Cool has been paid the amount but with no respite as the AC is still not functioning.
6. Now I have been allotted another technician by the Hitachi directly intimating to the dealer which contacted the undersigned today the 27th April, 2022.
7. I have no objection in paying the reasonable amount again in case the AC is made functional subject to the satisfaction of the customer. Otherwise, the option to purchase a new AC could be revealed in case the repair becomes costly and recurrent on year to year basis.
8. I shall be grateful if my 3 Star DC Inverter is checked to assess the repair cost and its reasonableness so that it does not become a liability on a recurrent year to year basis.
