I am here to complain about the Honda service centre in Durgapur, West Bengal. After the harassment I went through, I wonder if it is an authorized service centre of Honda Company.
My vehicle Honda Activa 3G required servicing. I had contacted the nearby service centre of Honda in Muchipara, Durgapur ( Named Swaptak Honda) on 16 January 2021. We sent our vehicle the same day under the name of Arun Saraya, and after they checked everything, the estimated charge given to us was Rs. 3000. If it had been more, we would have given a second thought to servicing then.
The same day in the evening, when the work was completed fully, the charge said to us was approximately Rs. 4000. As it was already 6:00 P. M., the service centre was closing and we decided to take the vehicle the next day.
On the next day, when they delivered our vehicle, the bill came off approximately Rs. 5000. Moreover, the indicator which was asked for repair was not fixed and above all this, the lockset of the vehicle which was properly working earlier was then not working.
My complaint is because of certain reasons:
1. The price estimate when given earlier was Rs.3000, it kept on increasing day by day. Moreover, the bill received finally was approximately Rs. 2000 more than the estimate.
2. Even after so much time, they came with some parts not repaired and had to take the vehicle back again.
3. The lockset which was properly working earlier, was not working after it came from service. And the people there do not accept that.
4. The behaviour towards us, the customer was very rude. We did not expect such kind of behaviour from the man at the service centre. This was not expected from a service centre of world-renowned esteemed company Honda.
5.Even the Bill provided was way too high than the estimated price said and seemed to be casual and improper.
