The fuel range on display showed indication that I can go 600 km more before I fill petrol.
When the car reached the service station it showed that it can go 522 km more which means either it was driven 78 km which is not true( service showroom distance they said first 8 km before booking the service, 20 km when picking up the vehicle for service, and then 25 km while dropping the vehicle.
So assuming the distance to showroom from house is 25 km, the fuel range indication should be 600 - 25 = 575 km, so 575 -522 = 53 km petrol theft, assuming mileage of car is 6 km/litre it is clear theft of 9 litres while going.
After I received my vehicle, from 522 it came to 292 = so while returning from showroom to house, the distance range came to 230 km already drove.
230 -25 =215 km while returing the vehicle
35 ltr while returning stolen
While going 9 ltr and while returning 35 ltr stolen.
Total 44 ltr stolen . Todays petrol price per liter 101 Rs. So theft of 4400 Rs.
Do not give your vehicle for servicing in this Center. The drive range before servicing was 600 km and when it reached the service center it became 522 km and when they handed it back to me It shows 292 KM drive range. So to service my vehicle they drove/stole 600 - 292 = 300 km and assuming it was 60 km from my house they drove 300 km - 60 km = 240 km . Average in city is 6 km . So to service my vehicle I had to shell out 40 litre petrol...When I had asked them they said it just 8km from my home.
