On 5 august 2020, from my idea app i tried to recharge my idea prepaid mobile no. [protected] for rs. 699/- and paid by net banking of kotak mahindra bank a sum of rs. 674/- after applying coupon of rs. 25/-. I received a message from kotak bank that "as requested, rs. 674.00 has been debited from your account no. Xx5953 on 05-aug-20 through kotak mahindra payment gateway vide ref no. [protected]." however recharge failed. I contacted idea customer care executive 2-3 times. However cce told that on 5 aug 2020, recharge of rs. 674/- was not done. I raised a dispute with kotak bank of this amount. Kotak bank vide it's email dated 17 august 2020 informed me that "your dispute regarding the online transaction has been rejected as the amount is settled in the merchants account.". Therefore it is clear that rs 674/- has been credited to idea account.
Therefore i request idea to refund rs. 674/- which has been deducted from my account of which recharge failed.
I submit herewith copies of email of kotak bank dated 5 aug 2020 by which amount was debited to my account and also e mail dated 17 august 2020 by which the bank informed me that "your dispute regarding the online transaction has been rejected as the amount is settled in the merchants account.". I also submit a statement of the bank account in which there is reference of payment.
