It is respectfully submitted that the applicant (Sarthak Saini s/o Shri Manoj Kumar, R/o Railway Road, New Defense Colony, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad, U.P.-201206) has registered with Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, 11, R.A. Lines, Dogra Mandir Road, Meerut Cantt-250001 to do BHMCT (Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology) 4 years course in October-2022. For which the fee of Rs.35, 500/- was deposited by the applicant as per the fee schedule of the Institute. Photocopies of fee deposit receipts are attached.
Due to the transfer of the applicant's father to Gurgaon only after the admission, it was not possible for the applicant to study in the Institute even for a single day. Therefore, the applicant appeared before the Institute again by phone and informed orally and in writing that the applicant is unable to study in Meerut due to the transfer of the applicant's father to Gurgaon, therefore, canceling the applicant's admission, submitted by the applicant. Kindly refund the fee Rs.35, 500/-.
The applicant requested the Institute several times over the phone and by being personally present to refund the fees, but the fees are not being refunded by the Institute. While according to the rules issued by the UGC (University Grants Commission) regarding the refund of fees, 100 percent fee is refundable if the notice of cancellation of admission is given within 15 days.
No correct answer is being given to the applicant after the applicant contacted the Institute several times. The applicant is being treated indecently. Being mentally and financially harassed, the applicant is pleading for your help with folded hands.
Therefore, it is respectfully requested to kindly return the amount deposited by the applicant as fees in the said institute. It will be so kind of you .
