I am a new tax payer and I am trying to register myself to file the returns in the New Income tax department website. However, I keep getting the error as "Error : Name entered is not as per PAN. Please retry.". So, i reached out to the Customer Care support of this portal and they confirmed that my PAN details are proper and this is issue with the Income Tax Govt website.
They asked me to write email to [protected]@incometax.gov.in. I have been writing emails everyday from 6 days and still no response regarding my issue.
Govt is taking my taxes but not allowing me to get my returns this way. As a first time tax payer, I am highly disappointed in the system.
If i do not file tax returns at right time, I will lose thousands pf rupees. If my PAN details were incorrect, this would have created issue earlier as I am a salaried employee. However, due to portal issue, I am not able to file returns and nobody is providing support to resolve this issue either.
Please consider this complaint seriously as you are my last resort for this situation here. Guide me on how to get my issue resolved.
I have been entering the right details as I have crossed verified with the Income Tax Dept Portal customer care and I doubled checked the PAN card and have entered exact information as well.
