India Book Of Records — Authenticity of the company being registered with govt of India

Website: indiabookofrecords.in

Recently, I came across India Book of records, which claims to be registered with Govt of India. I checked the website, and thought of applying for my 2 year 3 month old daughter, who can recognize flags of 70 countries. After applying, I received an email from them, with instructions on document requirement, how to capture video of proof showing my daughter's talent, etc. The website, even though claims to be register with the GOI, does not have any .Gov or similar locator in its url. After I sent all the documents, the mail reply came byt was in spam folder. On opening the mail, I saw that my daughter's video has been selected under "Appreciation" section. She will get certificate, medal and others things as prize. But for getting the prize, I have to pay INR 7080 (INR 6000 + GST 18 percent). They also told me that I can avail their PR service for INR 18, 000. When I checked with other people who also applied everyone got selected and everyone was asked to pay the amount of INR 7080.

I have not paid a single penny to them, because I don't think I need to pay someone a lump some amount of money for getting a certificate.
I want to know is this company really registered with the government? If yes, how is the government allowing this company to operate like this?

Sometimes people just want to associate with a particular institution or organization as if they are some detectives of sorts. They just wish to question the in-and-out of everything because they can’t help. They are just born curious. This seems to the case here that questions the authenticity of India Book of records on the one hand and started off with explaining how the child was appreciated. Authenticity and registration of the company is questioned by Ms. Ghosh with no real investigative results – save a few screen shots. India Book of Records has an RNI No. HARENG/2010/32259, which is registered with the Government of India. This is a serious authentic fact that cannot be denied.
What more, authenticity of the company cannot be associated with her daughter being given a note of “Appreciation” by India Book of Records. As far as getting the prize by making a certain payment goes, there is a cost attached to the goodies given by anyone. Even if it is a small piece of tiny little thingy – it costs. However, what most people will not tell you is that there no cost attached to anyone who is appreciated or makes a record, in case you do not wish to get the prizes. You will still get published in the annual publication of India Book of Records. This is most definitely free of cost. So yes, that is the what it’s all about and yes again – it is registered with the government of India.
