India Post — False statement by 110074 office staff

I s c upadhyay along with my wife visited chattarpur post office 110074 at 14:30 today on 22 12 2016 to collect our cheque against our matured n s c investment.in presence of sub postmaster, office assistant denied to issue the cheque quoting a reason that cheque can not be issued after 14:00 hours. I wish to confirm whether this statement is true that the working hour to issue an already prepared cheque ends by 14:00 hours. If yes there is no issue.
