India Post — registered parcel item stolen

Dear Sir/Madam, on 12 march 2020 my father-in-law has sent a registered parcel which contain 1 pair of silver payal, 1 silver bowl, 1 silver spoon, 1 0.540gm gold baby ring from Head post office Puri (752001pin code) to Bangluru s.o. post office (560038 pin code). When my wife open the parcel find all item but 0.540 gm of gold baby ring which is absent from the pack. I have got all description from my father-in-law how he had packed it. But some body (Postal Staff) has tampered the parcel and stolen that gold baby ring which is 0.54 gm. So, my concern is if a central government organization has this kind of negligence happen then whom common people will believe. Please its my request kindly take some immediate and necessary step to save one an old citizen's hard earning wealth.
