Hello,
I recently happened to place an order through one of the local links for (Shopify.in), which is India Today Discounts. They were offering the airpods gen 2, at around 5000 INR, which was shown as 18, 900 in their adverts. I placed the order, and since they were COD, i was not much worried about the order status.
I got back to back calls from a USA toll free number, asking for confirmation of the order, and I have provided the consent to place the order. Again, i wasn't much bothered, as it was COD.
Order details were sent to my registered mobile number 2 days later, and tracking details were shared through (XpressBees), their partner in SCAM i believe.
After multiple trackings, and calls, i got the order delivered today, checked the order and PAID the 5K, through COD, only to find out that the Product was Fake. The Fake product doesn't work properly even. After multiple online tutorials, found a way to make the product work, as in where one ear pod works, and the second (right ear- to be precise)doesn't even respond to charge.
I have been scammed in a most legit way, and i can do nothing about this, as their website doesn't respond, the number to call doesn't seem to be an active number at all.
With the least hope, im writing here, so that i will be the last person to be scammed by such fake branding pathetic companies. I know the money is spent on this pure fake product which looked or appeared original is not going to be refunded, or is there a way i could get, but this has to be brought to light to someone in the concerned areas, as such loots are frequently happening these days, and mostly well qualified literates/ diplomats are the one's who are falling in these traps very quickly.
Please take necessary actions, in curtailing these websites/number of hits to their sites so that the people can least know or prefer these kind of sites.
Hoping that someone, somewhere in the corner of the world is reading this, so that the light of awareness over these fake sites are lit.

I have also received calls from the USA
I got an order from xpressbees today and I paid 5000.00 rupees cash to the delivery executive.
When I opened and checked it is a fake piece.
I don't know whom to contact.
Is there, anyone, to help me.
